Grana d'Oro's story began in 1936 in Cavriago, in the heart of the Reggio Emilia plain, and continues across three generations with a clear direction: raising Vacche Rosse Reggiane and turning their milk into Parmigiano Reggiano DOP. In years when many local producers followed different paths, our farm remained consistent with the Reggiana breed tradition, recognizing its agricultural, cultural and qualitative value.
This continuity allowed us to build a method based on direct experience, daily care and deep supply-chain knowledge. From barn to aging, every step is part of a living story made of transmitted skills and the ability to innovate without losing identity. Today Grana d'Oro remains a territorial agricultural reality focused on authentic quality.
Over time, Grana d'Oro's story evolved while keeping strong family roots and expanding its ability to connect with different markets and customers. From local sales to national and international presence, our growth path has been gradual and built on the reputation of Vacche Rosse Parmigiano Reggiano and the seriousness of everyday work.
Alongside commerce, the cultural dimension remains central: showing how the product is born, opening the farm to visits, and transparently sharing the relationship between breed, milk, cheesemaking and aging. This balance between heritage and future vision defines our history: preserving a unique agricultural legacy and making it relevant for people seeking real quality, clear origin and concrete values.
